Biography

Seyi Vibez, born Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter whose music combines street-pop, Afro-Fuji and melodic contemporary African sounds. Known for his emotive delivery, Yoruba-infused songwriting and stories drawn from everyday experiences, he has developed a distinctive place within Nigeria's contemporary music scene.

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Seyi Vibez began releasing music professionally in the late 2010s, gradually building an audience through songs and freestyles that reflected his personal experiences and the realities of life around him. His music developed around a combination of melodic vocals, Yoruba-language expression, street-oriented themes and influences from Fuji and contemporary Afropop.
