Blaqbonez teams up with Asake on “IKEBE 3000,” a high-energy collaboration built around attraction, nightlife and the carefree side of enjoying a night out.
About the Song
“IKEBE 3000” takes a playful approach to attraction and nightlife. Blaqbonez and Asake trade lines around women, money, drinks and having a good time, with the repeated “ikebe” hook giving the song its central phrase.
Blaqbonez leads with a mix of rap and melody, while Asake adds his distinctive vocal delivery to the record. Their performances keep the song focused on its playful and party-oriented theme.
Production
The production combines punchy percussion, bass and melodic elements to create a dance-focused rhythm. The arrangement gives both artists enough space to move between their verses and the repeated hook.
The sound also brings together Blaqbonez’s hip-hop background and Asake’s street-pop and melodic style, making the collaboration a natural meeting point between rap and contemporary Nigerian popular music.
Release Context
“IKEBE 3000” was released on October 2, 2026, through Chocolate City Music. It follows Blaqbonez and Asake’s earlier collaboration “Chanel” and arrives as part of the rollout for Blaqbonez’s upcoming project, NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME.
