Seyi Vibez turns his attention to attraction and admiration on “MELANIN,” a solo track from his 2026 album SWAGUU. The song celebrates the beauty and qualities of a woman while showing a softer side of the singer's writing.
About the Song
“MELANIN” is a romantic record built around attraction, confidence and admiration. Seyi Vibez praises the woman at the centre of the song, focusing on her appearance and the effect she has on him.
The song also carries a carefree message about enjoying the present. Rather than dealing with the heavier themes found on some of his other records, “MELANIN” keeps its focus on romance, beauty and living in the moment.
Production
Produced by Mally Mall, “MELANIN” uses a melodic, rhythm-led production that gives Seyi Vibez room to deliver the song in his familiar street-pop style. The arrangement keeps the instrumental supportive of the vocals, allowing the romantic theme and repeated hook to remain at the centre of the record.
Album Context
“MELANIN” appears as the fourth track on SWAGUU, Seyi Vibez's 14-track album released in September 2026. The album explores different sides of the singer, from ambition and success to love and personal relationships. Apple Music specifically identifies “MELANIN” as one of the songs where Seyi Vibez focuses on the qualities of a lover.
